Sometime in May my website was hacked and, offline for more than a month’s worth of weeks, I lost quite a lot in access and potential contacts. Sometime in June I began working with a new tech person who’s damn good and will rescue me from jobless Internet people. This is one reason I haven’t posted anything since for two months now. The other reason is what happened. I haven’t recovered because you don’t recover from things like this.
When the major site work is done, I will be making one of my short stories available here. I enjoyed writing “Mulumba,” it marked the evolution of my prose, and there is a sweetness in it that consoles me now. I wish, though, that The Threepenny Review would make it public instead. Another thing I will be sharing is a letter for young writers.
I appreciate the reads and comments. Thank you. Thank you.
