Sometime in March, the journalist Anne-christine d’Adesky reached out and we started talking. The result was a feature that was meant for Pride Life magazine. It contained a profile of my work at Brittle Paper and the queer writing scene and three other sections in which I highlight writers and projects that centralize queerness and select a playlist. The feature, moved around as most features are, finally came to Literary Hub. The published version includes neither the writers and projects I highlighted nor the playlist. It came out on 3 October.
My thanks to d’Adesky and Lit Hub senior editor Corrine Segal who, as we spoke on the phone during her fact-checking, was very understanding.
