TWC Prose Workshop in Nsukka

In December, I was at The Writers’ Community (TWC) in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka for a prose workshop. It was where we started: Arinze Ifeakandu, Chisom Okafor, Ebenezer Agu, Osinachi, Michael Umoh, Uzoma Ihejirika, Festus Iyorah, Adaeze Nwadike, Pius Ifechukwu. Without TWC, there might be no me in the way that I am. I left in 2014 when I graduated, and four years on, it gives me unusual joy to find promise in the present members.

I might be doing more workshops this year.

  1. I can’t imagine what I missed, there won’t be another missed opportunity this time, I can sure see to that. Meanwhile I understand it’s still under some levels of uncertainty, but I choose to be on the optimistic edge. I can’t wait to attend your workshop.
I know Nigerians have their way with unsolicited advice, but this isn’t one of them, a plea should be close to the right term. ” I will be doing more workshop this year” rather than ” I might be doing more workshop this year”.
Okay that’s likely a bad joke, just one of my failed attempt at humor.
Sir! Am really anticipating to be part of your workshop this year.
